the gnome has left the building. someone found my ring in the women’s room last friday night. seeing that everyone had gone home for the weekend, she put it in an envelope and stashed it in her desk until this morning. i couldn’t be more ecstatic or grateful. phew!

Glad you found the ring! I have lost important jewerly before and it's just awful.
Also, thanks for the advice on Maine! I booked a hotel the other night and I'm set to go mid-August! I can't wait.

i was so amazingly relieved to find that ring. sometimes i think i have too many attachments to material things... but with certain things (like that ring) i think it's ok.
wendy: i haven't talked to you in forever, hope you're well! ;)
ML: i'm so excited for you to visit boothbay. it's one of my favorite places, ever. if i had a million dollars, i'd for sure buy a place there! so new england, so quaint and charming. have fun!
